Mel and Bel work the canteen at Balgowlah North Public School. They have dutifully planned, prepared, and served healthy food following strict nutritional guidelines. The canteen complies fully with the new NSW Healthy Canteen Strategy. This canteen was chosen by the NSW Premier’s department to participate in the official televised launch at the end of February 2017. Balgowlah averages 850 orders per week in a school that has 615 students which is an extremely high ratio of students to canteen users.

Renuka and Taeko manage the canteen at Anzac Park Public School. This canteen runs to the same menu as Balgowlah North Public and Cammeray Public School. Both Renuka and Taeko have been guiding the students and parents of the new school through the online lunch ordering process and purchasing over the counter, which is proving to be very successful and popular. Anzac Park is built to enrol 1000+ students and has 640 students in 2018.

Belle manages the canteen at Cammeray Public School, which is our busiest canteen. She works closely with the P&C and Dan to maintain the requirements of over 50 students with mild to severe allergies. We have also setup individual student meal plans having worked out sugar and starch sugar levels for 2 students with diabetes. Belle’s team also delivers on average over 100 lunches Monday & Tuesday, 180 on Weds, over 200 on Thursday and almost 300 on Fridays.

Megumi heads up our canteen at Artarmon Public School. This is another busy canteen with over 1000 enrolled students from diverse backgrounds. Artarmon runs to the same menu as the other three school canteens.

As of November 2019 our canteens have attained a 5 star “scores on the doors” or equivalent council rating for food safety.
